Letter: Do not support building casino

I agree with the outpouring of negativity toward the proposed casino. Those who support it also support hard-working people watching more of their money go to Toronto, while piling up social problems like gambling addiction. You won’t see a massive influx of tourist money as that all goes to Windsor, Gatineau and Gananoque.

As someone who was born and raised in Sudbury, but living in Halifax due to work, I can attest that this is bad for the area and its economy. Do yourselves a favour, do not support the building of the casino. And if it gets built, don’t go.

Also, do your part in firing Thibeault and Wynne. Every vote counts and that is what is best for my hometown.
