Montgomery Gentry Returns to Las Vegas during ACM Weekend

Montgomery Gentry will headline Friday April 13 as part of Stoney's Rockin' Country ACM Party for A Cause Weekend

Friday, April 13th Montgomery Gentry takes the Stoney's Rockin' Country stage to celebrate 20 Year Anniversary & a special tribute to Troy Gentry

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, UNITED STATES, April 12, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Montgomery Gentry returns to the Stoney’s Rockin’ Country stage this Friday, April 13, 2018, a stop on their “Here’s To You” Tour. This year marks their 20th year anniversary and with the tragic passing of Troy Gentry, this performance will be a special one, a tribute to Troy, and there is no better time than ACM weekend when the who's who of country music is in town.

“We knew right after their performance in 2016 that we wanted Montgomery Gentry back here at Stoney’s,” said founder Chris Lowden, “but we never thought for one second it would be without Troy. What a warm and generous man, amazing hanging out with, drinking, laughing and then watching them put on an amazing show....we are honored that they are playing here for the Vegas community."

Troy Gentry died in a tragic helicopter crash in September of 2017. The fate of the long lauded country music duo was uncertain, but Eddie Montgomery recently said “Me and Troy actually had a talk a long time ago, you know as brothers. If something ever happened… each of us said we want the other one to keep going and keep the Montgomery Gentry brand and keep it rockin’.”

So, that’s exactly what Eddie Montgomery and his entire band, many who had been with the duo for 20-25 years, is doing with the “Here’s To You” tour. Eddie will continue to sing the songs fans love as well as songs from their newest album, and his bandmates will fill in the large vocal void left with the passing of Troy.

Montgomery Gentry will headline Friday night as part of Stoney’s Rockin’ Country ACM Party for a Cause Nashville star-studded week with live performances including Thursday night with Russell Dickerson, a 2-day Tailgate Party featuring Jon Pardi, Kip Moore, Aaron Watson, Rodney Atkins, Michael Ray, LOCASH, and more, as well as Saturday night featuring the Swon Brothers, Josh Gracin, and Craig Wayne Boyd. Montgomery Gentry tickets are available for pre-sale starting at $25.
