Over $105,000 in cash was stolen during an armed robbery at a casino in Endeavour, Chaguanas, on Thursday afternoon.

Seven employees were held at gunpoint and robbed of cash and valuables by a group of armed suspects.
According to reports, the incident took place around 4:30pm at Instant Winners Casino, located at Rodney Road.

Four suspects entered the establishment, three armed with firearms and one with a knife, and announced a robbery.

Employees were ordered to remain still as the suspects moved through the premises, targeting individuals and searching for valuables.
The victims, aged between 30 and 47, are from various areas, including Mayo Village, Claxton Bay, Plaisance Park, Laventille, Enterprise, Five Rivers, and Cunupia.

During the ordeal, one of the employees was physically assaulted before being relieved of his Samsung A12 smartphone.

The suspects then proceeded to take cash, cellphones, and personal belongings from the other employees, including handbags, iPhones, and Samsung devices.

One employee was forced to hand over a black Michael Kors handbag containing $3,500 in cash and keys to the establishment.
Two of the victims were ordered into the cashier’s booth and forced to open the safe, from which the suspects took $105,459 in cash.

The robbery appeared coordinated, with the suspects moving swiftly and directing victims into different areas. They then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
No injuries requiring medical attention were reported, but employees were left shaken by the ordeal.

Investigators, led by PC Ramsubhag, have launched inquiries into the matter.

Police are reviewing surveillance footage from the establishment and surrounding businesses in an effort to identify the suspects.

Officers are also urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.

The injured parties were advised to seek medical treatment for injuries sustained during their ordeal.
PC Ramsubhag is continuing enquiries.
