Tom Jones has added a Colchester show to his summer tour plans.
The legendary Welsh vocalist will headline Colchester Castle Summer Series on August 18, with tickets on sale at 9am on March 21.
Previously confirmed headliners for this year's inaugural edition of the concert series are Busted, Madness, UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell, Smashing Pumpkins, James, Texas and Craig David. Tickets for those dates are already on sale.
This summer, Jones will also headline Camp Bestival Dorset, Hampton Court Palace Festival, Margate Summer Series, Dundee's Slessor Gardens for Discovery Festival, a Depot Live show in Cardiff as part of the Live At Bute Park series, and Jockey Club Live concerts at Haydock Park Racecourse, Sandown Park Racecourse, Newmarket Racecourse and Market Rasen Racecourse,
The new dates are part of Jones' Defy Explanation Tour, which also heads across North America this spring and mainland Europe this summer in between the UK shows. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
The veteran performer's most recent album is 2021's 'Surrounded By Time'.
